CollabOS CA Certificate Support

Prerequisite

• Be sure the Sync app is installed on the PC that will be connected to Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini
• Physically connect the USB cable between the PC and Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini

Steps

Installing CA certificate as part of the device onboarding process

1. Connect the USB cable between the PC and Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini
2. Select Manual network setup option during the network connection screen 
3. After providing the appropriate network connection options, you will be prompted to configure the CA certificate 
4. Select Yes to upload the CA certificate onto the device
5. 1. Follow the instructions on the screen to transfer the CA certificate onto the device from the Sync App on the PC
      • Make sure the Sync app is installed on the connected laptop
   2. On your PC:
      1. Open the Sync app and select the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini device
      2. Select Configure Certificate under “3 dots” options 
      3. Choose the p12/pfx client certificate and click TRANSFER
      4. Enter password if necessary 
      5. Once uploaded disconnect your laptop as prompted on the screen
6. The device is now configured to use the CA certificate

Configure CA certificate as part of the CollabOS Settings application

1. Connect the USB cable between the PC and Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini
2. Launch the CollabOS settings application from the Service provider 
   1. Navigate to System and select the Security section from the list on the left
   2. Click Configure
   3. You can choose to Install or Replace 
      1. Follow the instructions on the screen to transfer the CA certificate onto the device from the Sync App on the PC
         • Make sure the Sync app is installed on the connected laptop
      2. On your PC 
         1. Open the Sync app and select the Rally Bar or Rally Bar Mini device
         2. Select Configure Certificate under “3 dots” options 
         3. Choose the p12/pfx client certificate and click TRANSFER
         4. Enter password if necessary 
         5. Once uploaded disconnect your laptop as prompted on the screen
         6. Certificate transfer is completed
   4. You can choose Remove if you already have a CA certificate installed on device
