When you use your Rally Bar, Rally Bar Mini and RoomMate in appliance mode, it runs the onboard operating system, CollabOS. Below you’ll find a list of known issues that we’re aware of and are working to fix. If available, a workaround may be listed.
If you are looking for information on the latest version of CollabOS including known issues we’ve fixed, checkout the CollabOS Release Notes article.
Issue summary: Rally Bar cannot be connected to a network with a hidden SSID using the Rally Bar remote control.
CollabOS version with observed issue: CollabOS 1.0.2
Workaround: If possible, unhide the SSID, connect to the network, then hide the SSID again. Alternatively, if your deployment includes a Logitech Tap, you can configure Rally Bar and connect to the network without unhiding the SSID. Once Rally Bar is connected using either of these steps, you can continue using the remote control.
Issue summary: Virtual keyboard is hidden when searching for Country on the setup screen when using the Remote Controller.
CollabOS version with observed issue: CollabOS 1.0.2
Workaround: To make the virtual keyboard appear, press the back button on the remote two times.
Issue summary: In appliance mode, Rally Bar is automatically de-provisioned from Sync Portal if it is connected to a laptop running the Sync App via USB port.
CollabOS version with observed issue: CollabOS 1.0.2
Workaround: If this happens, you will need to manually reprovision Rally Bar with the Sync Portal once the laptop is disconnected. The camera will not be reprovisioned automatically. See the article, Recommended Conditions for RightSight with Rally Bar for more information.
Issue summary: When multiple audio devices are connected to RoomMate, the last connected device will be the active audio device. When RoomMate reboots, the order of USB enumeration can change and therefore change which audio device is active.
CollabOS version with observed issue: CollabOS 1.3
Workaround: Connect only one audio device.
Issue summary: Using digital signage with Zoom when using RoomMate, if an image and a video are loaded at the same time, only the image will be displayed. If only a video is uploaded, it will play.
CollabOS version with observed issue: CollabOS 1.3
Workaround: Load either a video or an image. There will be an update in CollabOS 1.4 that will allow both still images and videos to be displayed.
