How do I update the software when Rally Bar is run in USB mode?

The firmware on Rally Bar and Rally Bar Mini can be updated in two ways:

1. Using the Logitech Sync App running on the computer connected to your device. Sync supports both Windows 10 and macOS.
2. Using Logitech Sync Portal

Sync App

To update your device in USB mode, you will need to download and install the Sync app.

1. Install the latest Sync app from this link

2. Launch Sync App, your device will appear on the left side

3. To update the device, Click the options menu (3 vertical dot icon on the top right) and Check for Device Update. This will download and install the latest software version. This process may take up to 20 minutes to complete.

Sync Portal

If the Rally Bar is provisioned into Sync portal using a Sync account:

1. Find and select your device in the Inventory view.

2. In the Room view, select your device.

3. Click on the note on the top labeled “Firmware update available.”

4. You should see the “Update Now” option.
