What operating systems support Screen Share?

As Screen Share and other Logitech devices are USB enabled, video and audio -- plus most other features -- are supported by Windows and Mac natively through the UVC standard. (Wikipedia link to UVC definition https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USB_video_device_class) Using the UVC standard, no driver installation is required to support your Screen Share or other Logitech conferencecam or webcam.

• A “driver” is a program for Windows that controls the operation of the device within the operating system.When a Logitech USB-connected device is plugged into a Windows-enabled computing system, Windows will automatically load and configure a driver software within Windows and notify when the installation is complete.

 
Operating Systems supported for Screen Share are:

• Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10
• macOS 10.10 or higher

 
NOTE: When using a Windows 7 computer, we recommend that you download and install the Screen Share Application from Logitech, as Windows 7 does not fully support USB 3.0.
